Samsung's recently unveiled Galaxy S23 lineup, particularly the Galaxy S23 Ultra, appears to have a lot of undisclosed surprises up its sleeves. Several fascinating software capabilities, such as the phone's ability to lift items from photos, are among the less significant technical changes disclosed for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus editions this year. The feature is quite similar to what is possible on an iPhone with iPhone 14. According to our information, the feature appears to be limited to the current Galaxy S23 devices for the time being.
Some Twitter users have noticed how the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra looks to be efficient in rising items from a picture, similar to what we've seen on iPhone 16-powered Apple iPhone and iPad variations. We tested it out on our Samsung S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra evaluation smartphones, and it worked well.
The feature is readily available on Samsung Galaxy S23 phones while using the integrated Gallery application. All a client has to do is long-press on an item, person, or animal in a shot, and it will be tweezed out of the picture as an intermediary, revealing a pop-up bubble with Copy, Share, and Save as picture options. The consumer may then choose to save the intermediate (which is a.png file) for later use and even share it with another program if necessary. The feature also works during video clip playing if the video clip is momentarily paused.
While the feature is intriguing as well as beneficial, Samsung's reluctance to publicize it may be related to Apple's original release of the feature. At the same time, it is unclear whose company first developed the concept or patented the software application feature.
Like with the Galaxy S22 collection in 2014, Samsung has reserved significant advancements for its ‘Ultra' version with the S23 collection as well. As we noted in our impressions, Samsung's Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus versions have equipment that matches S22 versions save for a slightly varied visual style and the CPU, which has now been upgraded to the custom-made Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It is officially known as the ‘Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy' by Samsung.
The Galaxy S23 Plus also has quicker wired charging at 45W. According to our thoughts, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a new CPU, a new 200-megapixel primary electronic camera with improved OIS, as well as other evident aesthetic changes, as well as a new ‘Astro Hyperlapse' feature for capturing celebrity journeys.
